Obiettivo primario della proposta è la razionalizzazione dei  flussi di traffico legati alle attività portuali, ottenuta tramite  la realizzazione di un sottopasso dedicato, anche in considerazione dell’esigenza di creare un unico accesso doganale. La viabilità urbana della fascia tra porto e città è stata di conseguenza completamente ristudiata in modo

da ridurre al minimo le interferenze tra le diverse attività e  da valorizzare gli aspetti architettonici ed ambientali.

The aim of proposal is the design of traffic flows related to port activity and functions: this is obtained with the construction of a separate tunnel for port goods.

Consequently, the boundary city-port has been re-designed aiming to avoid interferences between urban and port activities: the project includes a new urban promenade over the roof of the veicular tunnel, with opened views on the sea.
